We retrench the superfluities of mankind. The world is avaricious, and I hate avarice. A covetous fellow, like a jack-daw, steals what he was never made to enjoy, for the sake of hiding it. These are the robbers of mankind, for money was made for the free-hearted and generous, and where is the injury of taking from another, what he hath no heart to make use of?

Although I lost my mind, sir, I think you lost yours quicker
Being offended doesn't make you right
the talk-talk of dreams
Alcohol is not the answer, but at least it makes you forget the question
By the way, what made you think you'd have it your way?
I hate to say "I told you so", but fuck it: I told you so
Wealth cannot buy happiness, power cannot buy contentment
Don't you know they write songs about girls like you?
She never listened to a word her daddy told her. She finds company with her cigarettes and feels alone when the sun set // And it's an evergreen affair as temptation taunts the fox into the hunter's waiting lair // It may sound crazy but it's often lonely and the restless heart should be captured once in a while. Then you can use them, and you often fool them into believing whatever you desire. So I'll keep moving through the night. The hunter and the hunted on their designated flights

'Perhaps we will always try to find those who can unleash our deepest emotions,' he suggested. 'The ones which makes us feel afraid; scared to the bone, but yet, so alive.'
He loved her, he guessed he had always loved her. Like a sister. Because she just hadn't been more than a kid. A beautiful, young mature and very smart kid, but still, nothing more than a kid. And that had been quite alright. He had cared for her, protected her, saved her more than once from her quick wit. He had, however, made a mistake by not realizing she was growing up. Even though she was a few years younger than she claimed to be, she still was growing into puberty by now. Her vision of him had changed, while his had still been the same. Of course she had been mad about it. Hadn't he overlooked the fact the she was no child anymore? He would have been mad, if he would have been her. But she hadn't been just mad. She had used him, manipulated him in opening his eyes. He felt betrayed. But still, he cared. He cared a lot.
