General As stated before: Morpheus is more a setting than a story. The setting itself won't be really complicated: imagine a Medieval town, nothing too big, not so small either. A bit of magic, subtle and vibrating and perhaps a bit of steam punk. If your character can control the elements, it is fine, just make it realistic: here, in this unnamed place, they shall not be gods. They are human, or at least something like it. They might be immortal, they might be old and experienced, but they won't be invincible. Make them vulnerable, be humble: we all love our characters and we all want them to be gods. Just remember there is always more to a story.
